After having conversations with a few friends, I realize there are a few things that need to be said. It has been a rough month. Many issues coming to a head and descisions being made that have not made everyone happy including myself. Everyone is on pins and needles and I for one want to see that stop.
I have made many changes that has drastically changed my ToonTown life. Some say, we have deserted them. I assure you, we have not. I would like all to realize that my descision was merely made so I can keep my friendships with people, that I have always admired and enjoyed playing with. I also have always believed in the Guild and will continue to support it. The Guild and what it stands for is why I joined Toontown Hall. I truly believe in all of the guilds members.
The current situation with another clan being created and run schedule at the exact same time as ours is so difficult. This attempt to make us choose sides and draw lines in the sand has been painful for us all. I for one want to play with all my toontown friends, many of which are members of ToonTown Hall. I refuse to choose. We should all be able to be free and make our own choices without feeling uncomfortable. I will support the Guild runs when ever I can.
As we move into our new site and discover new issues, some bugs and so many cool new things we want to do, we must remember why we are here. We started this guild one year ago, so that we could make the runs and forum fun and friendly. Once again we need to do that. I am afraid that we will lose that feeling of family if we feel uncomfortble going on runs.
It is not expected for any one to have to choose sides. We are all individuals with different styles and different tastes. The Guild has always been our friend and as a past leader I understand that each person will go with what makes them the most comfortable. As a consultant on the site I know what ever your descisions are they will be respected.
But while we are settling in, I think any suggestions you have are not only welcomed but greatly appreciated. We certainly will need to do some adjusting as time goes on. We will adjust to what the members want and grow from our experiences.
Adjusting, sticking together and moving on from the negativity will be good for all of us. We are all in this together! So we must move on.
I would like to propose as we approach our one year anniversary, that we find a way to celebrate. Lets keep in mind the holidays are here and we should all be festive. Please give any ideas you may have so we can find a special way to celebrate. If we pull together we can inspire each other. We need to hear your opinions.
