Funny, but it wasn't. A guy was negative, and his friend had him go to a seminar where there told him to say yes to everything. It's really funny, and that's were the name comes from.

I saw Yes Man recently. It was pretty funny, especially the part where they were shooting those.. discs? I don't know what it's called lol
But when Allison managed to hit it, she turned around to the people and said, "I did it!" and everyone fell to the ground ROFL
I saw Ghost Town too.. loved that, and the Uninvited..

It's called trap shooting where you shoot the discs (clay pigeons).

Since it's almost Christmas, it's time to revive this thread with a few Christmas movies. For years my wife and I have watched the George C. Scott version of A Christmas Carol - a great movie of a great story that we never get tired of. Tonight we watched the much earlier Allistair Sim version which most critics consider to be the best. There is much to like about it, but I'm not sure I'd replace George with Allistair just yet. But now we have two great choices. I have the Patrick Stewart version but have not watched it. Also pretty good is Scrooged, for a totally different, yet still effective, take on the story. And of course, many other versions - obviously its message still matters well over a century after it was written. Speaking of which, I wonder how many of us know the story in it's original form? I have never read it, and I bet I am not the only one.
Do you have a favorite Christmas movie? Please tell us about it if you do.

For Christmas movies, I still love The Year Without a Santa Claus because of the Miser Brothers and also the movie A Christmas Story.

Last night I watched The Usual Suspects on my iPhone and really liked it. It was out a few years ago but I had never seen it before, heard it was good and it was only like a dollar to rent thru iTunes. Loved the surprise ending.:shocked2:

I just saw Avatar recently. It was basically the story lines of Pocahontas and Ferngully juxtaposing each other, and then you throw that into a blender with the games Halo and SPORE. The special effects were amazing though.
Sweet Swamp Thing: I'm very jealous you got to see it in 3D. -.-

lol it was pretty cool like you could see the ash fly through the air. It was totally worth the extra money to see it in 3d.
