Training runs?

Hi, I'd like to see a section just for TRAINING RUNS.

For me personally, VP trainings helped a lot.

Right now, I could really use help with CFO since I've only done it a few times. I participated in a training run which helped A LOT with my craning skills. But then next time I went on a random NR run & couldn't handle the stomping well enough so I went sad (well, it was all chaos and I think a couple toons bailed early on in crane round ... others just ran all over the place)

It wouldn't hurt to add (or include in another section) factory/mint/DA runs for merits (or suit parts), cogbucks, notices, options etc., plus some kind of building breaker to work gags.

Sounds good to me! Hopefully we will see alot of interest, especially for training runs. These training runs are so much fun & you really do learn alot!

I still remember my first training run that I attended. It was a vp training run, and I remember how excited I was to have signed up and how greatful I was to the people that were taking the time to show me how to close stun. I had many toons that were hollywood 50 when I signed up for my first training run but yet I never knew how to close stun.

I remember how confident I became after the training because I knew that even if I ended up on a short load, I could help out with my new stun skills:dbay13:

Hey!! You know how Minnie (or Daisy or Somebody) sometimes rides the trolley just to eat the fruit pies? My toons go to crane training just for the jellybeans!! I'm not sure if I hold the record for the number of training sessions attended with the least improvement, but ... I might.

Anyway, when enough people are interested, count me in if you dare. Training runs are always SO FUN!!

Hehe, I am just *awful* at stomping!! I sometimes can't even get through the lil' factory goons without some damage - sheesh!

Maybe we should add a "how to" sticky somewhere just for stomping (you know, like they do the step-by-step guides for craning, how to stun the VP etc.) I'm only half-joking. :help:

SWP is ready and willing to help out with any of the training runs (VP, CFO, CJ). Bongo is maxed in VP and can help out there anytime if SWP is resting.;)

We will be doing training runs and you will get two week
notice. We figured we let the holidays pass so people can
enjoy them. Post here when you think would be a good day
and time. I think a Saturday or Sunday afternoon would be
best and we will most likely start off with VP.
