The trolly came up to three different tracks, KM pushed the lever forward and the trolly turned onto the right track. They slowly started to roll down the track, headed for the Umbrella Game. The trolly's wheels creaked as they turned on the cold steel tracks. Fluffy watched the ground below pass by slowly. Finally they arrived and rolled into the tunnel. The trolly came to a creaking stop, KM jumped off and gazed into the foggy covered mountains. Fluffy then jumped off with Harv.
"So where is he," Harv asked, looking around at all the mountains, "In a cave?"
KM, still scanning the mountains, started to walk forward.
"I know where he is, but it's going to take skill to get there." KM said with a sigh. He pointed to a ladder that lead to the top of a cliff.
"We climb up there," KM explained, "Once up there, we have to cross the mountain to the other side." KM started climbing, he got to the top and looked down at Fluffy and Harv, "Well," he shouted, "You coming?"
Fluffy and Harv looked at each other and shrugged and started to climb the ladder. KM waited for them to get to the top, as he waited he pulled out a map and looked at it. Fluffy and Harv finally got to the top and climbed atop the cliff.
"Ok mousey," Harv said, "Now what."
KM ignored the attempt of a name-insult and looked at his map. Fluffy peeked over his shoulder and looked at the map, "What are all those squiggly lines?" Fluffy asked.
"That's the ocean," KM explained, "We have to pass it to get to the other mountain where Zippy is."
Fluffy looked at him with confusion, "What!?" she cried, "We have to swim across the ocean!?"
KM laughed, "Oh you think I'm that crazy," KM said, "There's a bridge that we have to cross."
"Let me guess," Harv said, "The bridge is a rickety old thing that just hangs by a thread and could collapse at any minute, right?"
KM just looked at him and looked at the map, "Nah it's newly remodeled." he said sarcasticly. KM started to walk towards the other side of the cliff. Harv just rolled his eyes and followed, Fluffy also tagging along.
"Wait," Fluffy said, "I never noticed there was an ocean here."
KM looked back at her, "There is," he said, "But it's kind of hard to notice when your flying with an umbrella." he giggled.
Fluffy giggled slightly and caught up with Harv. They finally approached the other edge of the cliff. Harv and Fluffy's jaw dropped yet again as they gazed out into the restless, shining ocean. The white caps on the ocean crashed and disappeared and restarted again. KM extended his hand and presented the beautiful ocean, "This," KM said, "This is what that empty tunnel leads to."
"What empty tunnel?" Harv asked.
"The empty tunnel in Acorn Acres." KM replied.
The smell of the ocean swirled in the air, that fresh beautiful fragrence. The crashing waves could relax anyone.
"This is known as The Seltzer Sea." KM boasted, he gazed at the water-covered horizon, where the water met the sky.
"We better get going," KM said, "We have to find Zippy."
KM looked around and started to walk to where the mountains split.
"We'll walk through here," KM said, "Less likely to get noticed between mountains."
"How far away is Zippy?" Harv asked.
"Not that far, just over the bridge," KM said, "And through the pit of angry lions, giant komodo dragons, the sea of pirhannas, and the ditch of one-thousand knives and exploding lava."
Harv's eyes widened and he gasped, "WHAT," Harv shouted, "ARE YOU CRAZY!?" Harv waved his hands in the air over KM.
KM laughed so hard he fell over, "Gotcha!" he scoffed. Fluffy put her hand over her mouth and snickered. Harv rolled his eyes and started to walk into the split mountains. KM looked at his map and walked, Fluffy followed. They finally came to a clearing, Harv walked up to it, expecting it to be remodeled. The bridge was splintery and rickety. It was being held up by a thin string and it wobbled in the wind. Harv's eye twitched, "I thought you said it was remodeled." Harv whined.
"It was," KM said, "They painted it orange." KM pointed at the orange paint that was peeling off. Harv facepalmed and started to cross the bridge. Fluffy followed close behind him, KM made sure the bridge was sturdy enough. The bridge wobbled as they crossed it, it squeaked and creaked with each step they took. The sea tossed and turned below them, the wind taunted them by pushing the bridge back and forth.
"Almost there," KM said, "Keep going!"
Harv accidentally stepped on a sharp piece of wood, and a splinter stuck into his foot.
"YOW!!!" Harv said, he stopped walking and looked at his foot. Suddenly, there was a sound of cracking wood, and the board under KM and Fluffy broke through. Fluffy screamed and grabbed onto the dangling rope below the bridge, KM grabbed onto Fluffy's feet. Harv looked down at the helpless, dangling toons.
"Aw crud." Harv cried.
Fluffy extended her hand and Harv reached for it. KM stared up at them. Fluffy's other hand slipped and she grabbed onto the rope with both hands again.
"Gah!" Fluffy cried, extending her hand again. Harv, again, tried to reach for her hand. Finally, Harv grabbed her hand, he pulled as hard as he could to get them both up. He yanked them onto the bridge. Fluffy and KM's heart were racing, Harv leaned against the bridge and sighed with relief.
"Come on let's just go." KM said, "The sooner we get off this thing the better!"
At that, they ran to the end of the bridge, Fluffy flung herself to the ground and kissed it, "OH BEAUTIFUL GROUND!" she chirped. KM and Harv stared at her strangely, Fluffy noticed and got up, "Pah." she said spitting out a blade of grass.
"So this is an island mountain thing?" Harv asked.
"Yes," he said, "This is known as Cogless Island."
Harv stared at the litter that covered the ground, oil splatters everywhere.
"Well now its name is Used To Be Cogless Island." he said.
KM looked at his map and looked up, "Well," he started, "We have to head into the forest."
"So Zippy's in the forest?" Fluffy asked.
"Yes," KM said, "But it's hard to find him, he doesn't usually like company."
KM started to walk into the forest, followed by Fluffy and Harv. The thick vines and giant plants blocked their way. KM took out his sword and waved it around everywhere. Nothing happened. Harv giggled, "Well, now that your done playing with your wittle baby sword--" Harv got interupted by the sound of falling leaves. The plants had fallen in half, the slices on them were perfect and exact. Harv twitched and walked into the forest, KM giggled and walked in behind him. Fluffy looked at her feet, a beautiful flower was against her foot. She picked it up and put it in her hair and quickly ran in to catch up with the others.
