Hi guys!

Since this is a PG forum, kids under 13 need their parents permission to be able to post. If you want to join and are under 13, you can download the form below.

There are directions on it on how to send it in. :)

The Guild v2.0™ Privacy Policy:

Here at The Guild v2, while we do collect and store data, we only do so for the purpose of conducting forum business.

All posting members of our forum must be at least 13 years old or have parental consent. For any members under the age of 13, we must receive parental consent within 7 days of their registration, or the child's email address will be deleted and their account set to the COPPA User Group. (COPPA is the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act law)

The COPPA Law sets forth rules for what information can be stored about a child under 13, specifically contact information. Once a member has been deemed to be under 13 and without parental permission, here at The Guild v2.0®, the member's email address is deleted. The account is set so they are unable to post messages on the board and are not able to send or receive personal messages within the personal message system.

While deleting the member's email does prevent password resets, a member can request their password to be reset through the Contact Us form at the bottom of the forums page. We will use that member's email address only to send them their password and then immediately delete it from our records.

Information collected from members includes email, username and date of birth. This information is used only for password resets, to send out periodic newsletters or to notify a member that they have broken a forum rule. Should any member wish to opt-out of the newsletters, they may do so at any time by responding to the email and asking to be removed from the mailing list.

Additionally, user IP addresses are obtained through cookies and are only used to research and prevent forum abuse, such as hacking, creating multiple accounts or other online attacks.

Other data that may be stored (but is optional) are if a member chooses to enter their Yahoo, MSN, Skype and/or ICQ user name. No child that is under 13 and does not have parental permission is able to enter this information.

The Guild v2.0® does not share information with any outside party.

Any parent that has given permission for their child to use The Guild v2.0® forum, may revoke that permission at any time and have their child's information deleted. Any parent wishing to have their child's membership removed must do so in writing. Please fax your request to 866-549-4634, including the account name, email address and telephone number for confirmation.
