How to fight the CFO
You get your CFO suit by doing tasks in Donalds Dreamland.
Before you can go into the CFO, you have to be 71 laffpoints and have your suit. You, also, have to get your Cashbot Cogbucks, which you get by defeating Cashbots.
Once you get to the CFO, you will defeat about 24-30 cogs. These cogs range from level 1 to level 12 and aren't too terribly hard to defeat. People usually sound through them with no problem. Rarely does anyone go sad or run out of gags in the cog round.
After the Cogs are over, there is a crane round. Robot-like goons come out of the CEO's undercarriage. They must be disabled by stomping on them, then the crane operators can pick them up and throw them at the CFO to damage him.
Stomping:
To disable a goon, run right up to it where you are actually touching it, [hunt=Easter2012|191;5]then jump forward. This disables it and it throws out a treasure that will toon you up.
If you jump at it from a distance, you can get it, but might miss. If you are actually touching it when you jump, you will get it every time. The little bitty goons that come out at first can just be walked into and they will disable, they are really easy.
The little goons take -14 laffpoints if they hit you with their light, while the bigger ones progress to taking more and more until the ones after 30 minutes of time that come out can take 30 laffpoints with every hit.
Goon Damage/Treasure Reward:
Small Yellow Goons
Damage 14
Treasure Toonup 3
Medium Yellow Goons
Damage 19
Treasure Toonup 10
Red Goons
Damage 24
Treasure Toonup 10
Large Red Goons (Come out at the 30 minute mark, run!)
Damage 30
Treasure Toonup 12
If you have been in the CFO for 30 minutes and the 30 laffpoint goons come out, you are in trouble. You don't want to see those goons!
Craning Overview:
To defeat the CFO, you must have people operate cranes and throw disabled goons. After disabled goons are thrown long enough, the CFO will become dizzy. At this point, throw safes to do more damage.
If a safe is thrown and the CFO is not dizzy, the safe will become his helmet and doing him any damage will be impossible. To get the safe off his head, throw another safe and it should come off. (Sometimes lag makes this difficult.)
To operate the crane:
Pull the crane all the way back to you.
Aim by using the left or right arrow keys.
Then, go forward aiming at what you are wanting to pick up.
Hold the control button down to pick up what you want.
After you have picked up what you want, continue holding down the CTRL key.
Pull the crane all the way back to you again.
Use the left and right arrow keys to aim at the CFO.
If you have a goon, aim at his head to do the most damage.
If you have a safe and he is dizzy, aim at his belly to do the most damage. (Don't throw a safe unless he's dizzy!)
On the way out with the goon or safe, don't use the right or left arrow keys too much. Slight adjustments left or right are ok, but anything major will cause the crane to swing wildly. Only minor adjustments on the way out will ensure you can get a good hit.
When do you let go of the control button? Well, most times it is around mid-belly of the CFO, but you will have to play with this to see what works best for you. If it drops short, let go later next time. If you over-shoot it, let go earlier next time.
If the CFO looks at you, he is going to throw gears and you will lose 10 laffpoints (sometimes 20). Hit the escape button or click the X (Leave Crane--NOT the window X) to get off the crane. This will save your laff.
If you get low on laff, go get some treasures. There are usually enough for everyone; however, if you are not too low, save them for others that need them more. No one likes a treasure hog!
Did you know?
The CFO is worth 500 points, you must do 500 points of damage before you can win.
If you destroy goons by dropping safes on them, bigger goons come out. The progression of the goons to bigger ones depends on the damaging of the CFO and upon how many goons have been destroyed.
If you want to be able to do the most damage as quickly as possible, don't let goons be wasted. Make sure they are used to damage the CFO.
Also, did you know that if you stomp the goons right out of the door and they pile up, they will destroy each other? Yes! They will start blowing up on their own. So, if you see a few piling up there, let them walk out a bit so they don't start blowing up and cause bigger goons to come out.
If you have been hit by a goon and took some damage, you are invincible and cannot take another hit for a small time. During this time, you can jump on a few goons and take no more damage.
Did you know that standing in front of or near a craner will cause the CFO to look at you and he will throw gears and cause you to lose laff and he will knock the craner off their crane. Craners do not want you to stand too close to them, it puts them in harm's way.
Did you know that after 30 minutes, HUGE goons come out with really big lights. They take 30 laffpoints off of you with each hit. If you see these and are struggling, you might want to leave.
